We have closed port 9284 (customer SSH access), and also disabled
terminal access via cPanel's Terminal GUI as a proactive security measure due to a recently
identified bug in the Linux kernel's crypto component (CVE-2026-31431), also referred to as
"Copy Fail." This vulnerability affects the way data is cached and could lead to
unauthorized system changes.
These restrictions serve as a temporary mitigation to protect our
environment while official patches are finalized. We are currently awaiting updates for our
CloudLinux and KernelCare systems and will apply them as soon as they become available.
We expect to restore normal port activity once the security updates are
fully deployed. We appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the stability and security
of our hosting environment.
